  1. LANCAST located in Amherst, NH, with the only "translator" product
  2. certified by both Synoptics and Digital Equipment, is pleased to announce
  3. the company will exhibit (Booth #1310, first floor) two new fiber optic
  4. Ethernet Transceivers. The TRANSCAST ENT-4302 is enclosed in rugged,
  5. die-cast aluminum housing. It includes the GUARDCAST ERT-4308 In-line
  6. Network Monitor to ensure that network activity can be monitored from the
  7. user's workstation or other DTE equipment. The highly compact TRANSCAST
  8. ENT4312 features seven on board diagnostic LEDs. Both units include user
  9. selectable SQE capability. They are the industry's first in providing user
  10. selectable FOIRL or 10Base-FL standards to allow extended networking
  11. distance. Also exhibited will be the HUBCAST ENT-4371
  12. multi-media/multi-port repeater. It features eight coaxial/BNC ports and
  13. includes RJ-45/lOBase-T, fiber optic, and AUI connectivity. Each port
  14. includes both automatic and manual partitioning features providing ease of
  15. system diagnostic capability.
